pastor mike smallMike Chau

Pastor Mike was born on the Kowloon side of the City of Hong Kong. By the grace of God, he and his family immigrated to the United States in 1979 to Seattle, Washington. In the States, he started attending a church and came to know the Lord as his own personal Savior. His desire to go into the pastorate began early in life when he was in high school. In 1994, he earned his Bachelors degree in Geography from the University of Washington. He graduated with a Master’s in Divinity from The Master’s Seminary in Sun Vally, CA in 2001. Mike is blessed by God with a godly wife, Kris, who is a great support to him in the ministry. Mike and Kris have five energetic children (two boys and three girls). His passion is to walk with people, helping them to embrace God through His Word. His joy comes from being able to understand, apply, and clearly convey the Bible to each individual within the Body of Christ. Pastor Mike loves to spend time with his wife and children, and when time allows, he also enjoys playing in various sports, volleyball, basketball and tennis.

pastor erik smErik Chou

Pastor Erik grew up in a non-Christian home in Fresno, CA with one older brother.  He graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Biology and a Master’s in Divinity from the Master’s Seminary in 2001.  He is married to his wife Jen and has three beautiful gifts from God (two girls and a boy).

Erik loves to see the God use the Word of God to change people more into the image of Christ.  Erik has seen God use him most effectively in areas of preaching and counseling.  He was blessed for 5 years to have traveled to and fellowship with pastors from 8 different countries in Africa and Asia through working at Children’s Hunger Fund.   At this time, he loves to spend as much time as possible with his family.  They are a great joy to him.  Although he does not have any specific hobby or past time, he is always game for anything that will bring people together.

Richard Lee

Pastor Richard was born in Busan, South Korea and grew up in Incheon until 1984 when his family immigrated to the States. He grew up in Orange County and came to clear understanding of his sin and his desperate need for a Savior during his early High School years. Since then, he went to Fuller Theological Seminary for a year and transferred to Master’s Seminary where he earned his Master’s in Divinity. He has served a number of years as a Youth Pastor in Korean Church circle, but has been in a broader context since 2000. He is married to his beautiful wife Judy since 1999 and they have two delightful girls.  Richard loves to exhort the body through his preaching and through his worship leading. He loves to write songs and play music whenever time allows and loves spending his time with his family and eating good food.  Pastor Richard has a blog site, an active Twitter account (@RleePathway), and also manages church’s worship/music sites (Soundcloud, Facebook).

At Pathway we believe the function of Deacon ought to be a joint effort from husband and wife without compromising God given function and role distinction within husband and wife.
