Our Father in heaven, thank You for making us saints in Christ Jesus. We are not a people who are holy in our own right, but holy only because of Your grace. We thank You for not only cleansing us from sin and so making us holy but calling us and empowering us for holy living and so also making us holy. Thank You for saving us from hell and the power of sin. Keep us walking in holiness as You are holy. Holy Spirit, work in us a hunger and thirst for righteousness that would please You. Strengthen our consciences toward what is right and wrong in Your sight. Do this today as You teach us through Your Word.
We also praise You also for the privilege of participation in the gospel that we have. Thank You for what You are doing here through us to be salt and light and tell others about our Lord Jesus in the community where you have us. Also, thank You for what You are doing in Myanmar and allowing us to participate in the gospel in that country. Richly bless the progress of Your Word both here and abroad for Your glory.

Psalm 19

Father, I thank You for Your precious Word. Countless times has Your Word refreshed my soul and wised me up and rejoiced my heart, gave clarity to my blurred perspective on life and the world around me. Your Word is flawless and it alone has the authority to speak to what is right and wrong, what is holy and sinful, what is wise and foolish. For this reason, Your Word is more desirable than gold and sweeter than honey, surpassing everything precious and delectable on earth. Nothing here has the power to reconcile us to You, to admonish us of sin, to bring us to repentance, nothing but Your Word alone. God, it’s our prayer that You would wash us through Your Word. We want our words and our thoughts to be acceptable to You. We pray that You would bless Your Word and that You would let it sanctify us today.

Father,

We want to be blessed. We want to stand in the day of judgment and we want to prosper. We want to be known by You.

We ask that You would foster in us a desire to know You and be known by You–the way that a newborn baby longs for the pure milk of Your word. That we would be that tree firmly planted in Your truth, unaffected by the blistering trials of life on Earth and ultimately found in the assembly of the righteous.

In the midst of the busyness of life, we desire to make time for meditation and sincere consideration of Your truth. We ask for You to continually reveal to us the greatnesses of who Your are so that we would not be able to deny in any way the priority of our relationship with You.

We love You and long to be nearer to You.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the reminder that we are a temple of God, that we are not our own, that we are purchased with a price, and that we will be raised up with Christ. I pray that we would not be forgetful of this truth, so that we would not sin. I pray that we would recognize our sin as an affront to the Holy Spirit that dwells in us. I pray that we would be constantly pondering and meditating upon this truth, so our lives would be transformed and that we would live a righteous and godly life. Allow us to be reminded of this reality so much that we would change and mature. I thank you for your grace, because we would fall so miserably short without it. We love you Lord, so we pray that you would help us grow.

SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE

Come and join us in worshiping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Currently we are going through an exposition series through the book of 1 Corinthians. We also incorporate children’s teaching time during our main service to encourage parents to be involved in training our little ones to understand God’s Word. You can always count on great feasting in God’s word as well as your stomach as we break bread together each sunday to share a meal and fellowship.

FRIDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY

We have Friday night Bible Study every week at Lighthouse learning center.
It’s a casual setting in a discussion format to encourage better interaction.
We are currently going through what is being covered on Sundays to better apply the truths learned to our lives.
We also have a dedicated Bible Time for Children going through the Old Testament.
It’s a Family affair!

We meet every Friday at Lighthouse Learning Center at 7:30 PM!

MONTHLY FELLOWSHIP

This is a great time where men and women can gather together to share and be sharpen to love God and build in to one another’s life.
Typically each venue is held at remote location organized by designated person

1 Cor. 6:1-11

Father,

We ask that You would show us how we are like the Corinthians. Show us how we think too highly of ourselves and of our rights. Cause us to know how we think too much as people of this world, and not nearly enough as Christians. We ask this so that we might remove any leaven from ourselves so that we would be pure, not tolerating sin, but humbly seeking Your grace and a nearer relationship with You.

Teach us to no longer strive for our own name, rights, comfort, wealth, happiness, fame, intellect, dominance, pleasure, but rather teach us how to fight for You to be glorified. Discipline us so that we would not only see, but continually be convinced of Your preeminence. Your word tells us that this will result in our suffering and great trials, but we know that this will only be a short while and we willingly endure it so that Your name would not be defrauded.

We ask for courage and for Your strength to live this redeemed life. We thank You for saving us and calling us to a loftier citizenship. Use Your word, Your church, and Your Spirit to show us how to walk with a Christlike humility, forsaking what rights we think we’re due, but instead always fixing our hope on the grace that will come when Christ is again revealed.

We thank You and praise You, in Jesus name, Amen.

1 Cor. 5:9-13

God, I know from Your Word how much You passionately desire unity and harmony in Your church. And yet what we read this morning is that You also want disassociation, not from the world but from those who are in the church, those who call themselves a Christian and yet are living like the world. Help us, O Father, to keep that tension straight, that though You are a God of peace You are also indeed the God of holiness. You want peace but not at the expense of holiness. Your children are to love one another but Your children are to also live as children of their holy Father. Help us to keep this straight, O God, that followers of Jesus are pure, honest and content, that there is no such a thing as an immoral Christian or a swindling Christian or a covetous Christian. That Christians love and love to follow Jesus, their Master who loved them, gave Himself up for them and even purchased them with His own blood. Mold us into the holy community You want us to be. Help us to do our part, even today, in our time together, that we would encourage one another toward faithfulness to our Lord Jesus who called us to deny ourselves and follow Him. Help us to come along side one another to live as a follower of Jesus in our parenting, in our marriages, in our work places, in our areas of ministry. Keep us from becoming like the Corinthians who were oblivious to Your holiness and let sin pervade Your church. Awaken us to the reality that sin is infectious and that when left alone will lead the whole church into godlessness. Awaken us to the reality that You are holy and that we as Your children have the great privilege to bear Your holy name. This we pray in Your Son’s name. Amen.
